The misdemeanor charges against 28 health professionals in Bahrain must be dropped. The health professionals have been charged with illegal gathering to protest against the regime. The medics’ sentences will be announced tomorrow, July 4, 2012, by the Lower Criminal Court.
The Government of Bahrain must set aside the recent convictions of 11 medics. Four of the 11 medics that were convicted of participating in and supporting unlicensed protests and rallies currently face arrest and detention.
