Chief Communications Officer

The CCO will work in close collaboration with executive management to strengthen and expand current communications efforts, and to strategically build a comprehensive communications operation. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership, management and organizational skills; a strong background with diverse communication methods; and the energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and communications skills to drive and achieve the organization's communication goals.

In addition, PHR seeks a candidate with a strong personal commitment to human rights issues, an understanding of the need to engage a membership constituency, primarily of health professionals, and to synchronize fundraising initiatives with the core mission of the organization. Such an affinity with PHR's substantive work will be essential in successfully developing a vision for the communications operation.
