Twenty Ugandan health professionals attended a Stigma Training for Trainers workshop held by PHR and AGHA in Kampala on November 29-30, 2005. The training explored the topic of stigma in healthcare settings, and gave these health leaders the tools they need to train their colleagues in stigma interventions. The goal of this group, now the AGHA Stigma Task Force, is to start a grassroots anti-stigma movement across Uganda's health sector.
