Stephen Fee is PHR’s main contact for both the domestic and international media, and works with reporters to publicize PHR’s work and the organization’s experts.
Previously, Fee worked as a producer and on-air correspondent for PBS NewsHour’s weekend edition. He reported on the obesity crisis in Mexico, the safety risks of the U.S. shale oil boom, earthquake activity in Oklahoma, and the debate over the use of experimental drugs on terminally-ill people, among other stories.
In addition to PBS, Fee's reporting has appeared on CCTV America, Channel NewsAsia, France24, Radio New Zealand, and SABC South Africa. He started his journalism career as a broadcast desk assistant at The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and had previously lived and worked in Budapest, Hungary.
Fee holds an AB in social studies from Harvard University and is a member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association.
