Dr. Dantzker is a general partner of Wheatley Partners LP, a New York based venture capital fund. He manages the partnership's medical portfolio of companies. Prior to that, he was the President of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System and is the former Chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Dantzker earned his medical degree from the State University of NY at Buffalo and completed his pulmonary and critical care training at the University of California at San Diego.
He has held faculty positions at the University of California, the University of Michigan, the University of Texas, and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he is presently Professor of Medicine.
Dr. Dantzker has served on the Boards of a number of academic and professional organizations as well as public and private companies.
